The Heartline Runners have been training for months.  They in spite of busyness and at times not feeling like it and at times with injuries have run hundreds of miles in preparing for tomorrow’s marathon.  They have now gathered in Orlando, Florida,  arriving from Florida, New York, California, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Arizona, Virginia, South Carolina, Idaho  and Haiti.  Two ran today and 13 will run and or walk in tomorrow’s marathon.
Last night, they gathered together for a meal and for some to meet for the first time.

The Runners and Supporters

They are running to raise funds to purchase an ambulance/multipurpose vehicle for the Heartline Women’s Program.  You can still support them by going to Support the Heartline Runners and by giving a donation.

I have several running quotes that I especially like and want to share with you.

"The miracle isn’t that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start."
John Bingham, running speaker and writer

"Methinks that the moment my legs began to move, my thoughts began to flow."

– Henry David Thoreau

give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.”-
Steve Prefontaine

"It hurts up to a point and then it doesn’t get any worse."   – Ann Trason

"You have to forget your last marathon before you try another. Your mind can’t know what’s coming."   – Frank Shorter

"The will to win means
nothing without the will to prepare."
